Tek-Select® IP (Infiltration) Embedding Paraffin is recommended for technicians who want to improve their infiltration processing and is excellent when used with microwave tissue processors. TS2IP is a blend of highly refined paraffin with a lower concentration of polymers, which enhances infiltration and allows for proper fluid exchange. TS2IP melts uniformly at 55-57°C. Water bath should be set between 38-42°C. IMEB offers three unique formulas of paraffin for all your infiltration and embedding needs. All Tek-Select paraffin products offer excellent ribboning of tissue sections, even at 2-3 microns. Choose TEK-SELECT IP for improved infiltration during conventional or microwave processing. Use TEK-SELECT MM for both processing and embedding with an additive-free formula. Or for high speed production, use TEK-SELECT HP53. All IMEB paraffin products are packaged per case (Four 4.4 lb (2 kg) bags or buckets). Buckets can be used to dispose of used paraffin.
